PLANO, Texas, January 10, 2012 - Siemens PLM Software, a business unit of the Siemens Industry Automation Division and a leading global provider of product lifecycle management (PLM) software and services, today announced that its D-Cubed™ software has been selected to power a new offering from MIDAS Information Technology Co., Ltd., a Korean-based supplier of civil, structural and mechanical engineering software and consulting services, and a major supplier of computer-aided engineering (CAE) software for architectural and civil engineering. The company will use the D-Cubed 2D Dimensional Constraint Manager (2D DCM) and 3D Dimensional Constraint Manager (3D DCM) geometric constraint solving software components in a new CAE solution aimed at the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) market, including civil engineering.
